It is about a year in the making but PMMBH has finally started to take on the aspects of what the founders envisioned. There are things in place now that make it easy to quickly move forward and make this the best place to hang out on planet earth. There have been a lot of people and organizations that have taken the time and put out the effort to begin to assemble the best memory store place ever. Everything we do will be state of the art and will contain everything that was, is and will be.
Generations from now individuals will look back and thank the founders for saving and preserving the memories that made music easy to listen to, TV easy to watch and Radio easy to experience. It will all be here, from the artists that struggled to make their mark to the visionaries that made radio and television what it is today. A lot of history is lost because no one ever took the time to preserve it but now, here we are, gathering those memories to be presented for all to see and hear.
As long as the vision is shared, this archive will be available for the world to see. It is happening now. If you or anyone you know has a special piece of Pennsylvania music or broadcast history, an old radio play list, pictures or videos of long ago events covering any type of music, any type of broadcast both TV and radio or any type of entertainment that happened in Pennsylvania, please share it with us so we can allow the world to see it.
Generations of kids now and in the future will be able to access this history, hear its impact and see its beauty and learn about it which will inspire the creative artists of tomorrow. Others who forgot what they knew will be inspired to hear and see again what they once remembered. What were you doing in 1947, 1957, 1967, 1977, 1987, or 1997? A lot was going on in Pennsylvania.
